2005 – 2011 -Head of Human Resources Lloyds Banking Group & Scottish Widows Bank. I Helped shape and develop the strategic direction of the newly formed organisation, focusing on integration of colleagues and sites across all brands in the UK, to form a unified Lloyds Banking Group mortgage team. I was responsible for resourcing, recruitment and training of all the call centres handling acquisition through to servicing and complaints handling across the UK and India. I managed a team of 8 HR Business Partners and L & D Specialists across all Brands in Retail During my time at Lloyds, I was the HBOS Head of Performance culture and prior to that, Head of Learning and Development and Senior Regional Training Manager.

My passion and focus is always in the ER space and the people agenda. I believe business is relatively straight forward, the people agenda is the one usually over- looked. With the scale scope and pace of change the continued state of flux organisations find themselves in is finding leaders and managers having to grapple with complex supply chains, flatter structures, broader spans of control, a transient workforce, remote working, demographic change, individualism and changes in the tribunal process to name just a few. Unfortunately, not all companies have the mechanisms for people to be heard. All of this is leading to a more challenging environment for employers and employees - conflict within the working environment is growing. Many employers haven't significantly modified their general approach to dispute resolution as a result of recent legislative changes.
